How Carbon Offsets Are Verified

Not all offsets are created equal. Verification ensures that every carbon credit represents genuine, additional, and permanent carbon reduction.

Before credits can be issued, projects must undergo scientific measurement, third-party auditing, and registry validation. Satellite data, biomass sampling, and peer review confirm that carbon has been sequestered or avoided.

Karbon follows the same principle — every offset token is backed by verified sequestration data and tied to a transparent on-chain certificate.

Verification is trust. Without it, offsets are just promises. Karbon ensures every offset is real, measurable, and permanent.
